Small Victories

For the first time in months, I hit a trifecta. Having the day off with no appointments scheduled, I nevertheless showered, put real clothes on, and left the house. 🏠

I visited my mom and stopped at the store. There is a plan for dinner and all ingredients procured. The chaos of wrapping and tissue paper that’s been exploded all over our “office” spare room for at least the last year has been corralled. 🎁

The beautiful, sunny, blue sky has definitely contributed to a very good day. 😎

It’s important to acknowledge the positives when healing from depression. 💜

Writing is one of my passions. Most blog entries are relatively short articles regarding a wide variety of topics. I'm a middle-aged wife and mother of two adult sons. I've been a teacher, counselor, medical transcriptionist, student teacher supervisor, substitute teacher and retail clerk. Staying home now due to fibromyalgia. Seeking purpose.
